Plot twist, it's actually great!
Charming and quiet, yet close to everything! The friendly staff, and the spacious room with a good little balcony was a treat. Breakfast is a highlight with an abundance of options. The rooftop terrace offers amazing views-perfect for capturing Florence's allure!

It is a beautifully kept property located in Florence Historic Centre district close to centre of Florence, and restaurants and a supermarket. Overall the room is a nice size, airy and includes a private safe, air conditioner, and a mini-bar. Very good service, they provide a private parking and free Wi-Fi.
Views are really bad.

Principe hotel, why is the breakfast, so uninspired? Absolutely no variety, and the garden view was mostly a wall. I expected more for the price. I woudl ve been thrilled with a river view as promised, but no. Can't help but feel a bit neglected here. Almost gave you a good review, just couldn't.

For a family getaway, we found a charming spot just a short walk from several attractions. The spacious room we stayed in had a pleasant balcony view, which was great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The highlight for us was definitely the rooftop terrace, it offered stunning views perfect for nice photos of the city. The breakfast, while adequate, could use a few more fresh options, but overall, it was a lovely experience.

Gracious hospitality and service. Renaissance charm and beauty. Absolutely grand huge room overlooking the garden. Hotel located along the River with easy access to museums, fine dining and shopping. Florence at it's very best.

The hotel I really charming and has great character. The view from my hotel room (32) was fabulous and the hotel wasn't in the heart of the city, so it was quiet. You did have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the center of town but I didn't mind it...there is also bus stops not far from the hotel. For Europe this place was good value for money!
I am from Canada and our standard of a 4 star versus the ones in Europe must be different. I wouldn't categorize this place as 4 star accommodation but a strong 3 star Charming Hotel. It does need some renovation and maybe adding some variety in the breakfast.

would stay there again
I loved my single room with a comfy bed and private bathroom. The air conditioning was great. They had a coffee machine, a tv, and even a nice sofa. The daily breakfast spread was delicious, and I appreciated the attentive staff who remembered my name. The view of the garden was a nice touch too.

Family with children suitable getaway
An excellent stay! We walked everywhere with our kids, even during a heat wave! The breakfast was good, with beautiful cappuccinos for the kids. Plus, the rooftop terrace was fine, perfect views for capturing the family moments!
It wasn't affordable, but honestly, I think it was acceptable for what we got.
